Welcome to
Nose-Tips! Here you'll find all the basic information on how our shoots go, how to prepare for them, and some basic tips on how to make this an even more enjoyable experience for your companions!
How do the sessions work?
Before the day of the shoot I offer a consultation session where all details including props, participating members, and themes are discussed, between a week and a few days in advance. Then during the day of the shoot we would drive to the location, set up all the equipment, and then take photos for roughly 2-3 hours. From there we can look over a few photos, select the ones you like, and they'll be processed and sent to you via a platform of your choice in around 2 weeks!
How should I prepare for the shoot?
I'm happy you asked! Most of the preparation is done on our end, however if you and others are participating in the photos then the details on what you should wear and how to style yourself are discussed during the consultation. If you're bringing any discussed props from your end, then be sure to pack those a few hours in advance. Additionally, don't forget to bring water, treats for your dog, and some brushes in case we need to do some on-set grooming! We want to make sure your pet is comfortable the whole way through, so also bring along their favorite toy(s) to have some play time in-between photos.
Should I wash and style my pet?
Great question! We want to make sure that your pet is absolutely picture perfect, and so it's best to wash your dog(s) a day in advance, and then do all the styling and grooming the day of the shoot. Remember to also bring along extra brushes in case there needs to be some restyling work done on-set!
I want to bring more people/pets to the shoot, what should I do?
Not a problem! If you decide that you want to include more models a few days in advance, we can discuss a new arrangement that suits everyone best. If such a decision is made on a short notice (between 1 day and the arrival of the shoot), there may be an additional fee for those included, as well as no guarantee that we will have sufficient props/outfits for everyone.
